I can’t I’m Mormon
Abe likes to pretend to give directions, I handed him the map yesterday and told him let Dad know what to do (we use a gps). I said someting to Abe about having Dad turn at a “T” intersection. A few minuets later Abe said to me”What is dad supposed to do at the coffee intersection?”
That one took us a few minuets to figure out.

Read my lips
The other day Abe is trying very hard to explain an abstract idea to me that just is not catching on. (Abe had a funny way of arranging words like a foreigner some times) In his frustration he tells me that I should get something in my “ear to help me understand” WHAT? “You know that thing that the old guy has on UP? Can you see it in your minds eye Mom?”
OH, yeah ok, you think I could understand what you were saying if I had a hearing aid. . .ok very clever.
When all was said and done it turns out that he wanted to know when Aunt Heidi’s last birthday is? And how many does she get? . . .He though that once you grew up you stopped having birthdays. DUH, why is that so hard to understand?
The beat goes on
| Abe found an onion that had sprouted in the pantry. He promptly took it outside and buried it in a mole hill. |
| We took the boys fishing the other Sat. Abe was getting on our nerves while we were getting ready to go, so we sent him outside so he could BYOW Bring your own worm. |

My kid is so clever, he gave his alien a hula-hoop.
