1) “Mom did you know there are such things as earth fish? Yeah, like moles and worms and stuff are kinda like earth fish.” . . .My kid is a scientific genius, classifying at age 7.
2) We pulled over on our way home tonight because Mt. Rainer was looking fantastic. Henry-“Can we pwease yust go now?”
Abe-“I‘m in love with that mountain. Can a person marry a mountain?”
H –“You would have to kiss it and your lips would be soo cold.”
A-“And when she would cry, it would be hot lava everywhere and I would have to run away”
3) H-“What if the sun was put out” ya know like you put out a fire
A-without skipping a beat says “We would all die from coldness plus we wouldn’t have any food”
4) Just now we were looking at conception to birth images on the computer. Abe was soooo delighted to find out that he used to have a tail. He kept laughing and thinking up different things he would do if he could have held onto that dang tail. For ex: “I could be a wrestler and use it for moves in the ring”
I know I have a ton of blogging to catch up on but these little gems were all from tonight and I don’t want to forget.
