Everyday Living with Allison LeBaron

Henry has a new favorite food and it's . . .well anything he can find off the floor. But in this picture he is eating and sharing string cheese.
Scott claims that I'm not raising a very math oriented child. teh

Vacation from our problems!

This weekend we though we could move into our house, it didn’t work out. Instead of feeling sorry for our selves we pretended we were on vacation in Seattle.

We went on a tour of Seattle in this “boat car” (Abe’s description), A land water vehicle. So expensive but worth it for Abe.

We went to the boat locks and saw a salmon ladder.

Abe taking a tasty bite of a salmon.

Henry and his mom riding a wave.

We went to the arboretum, it was amazing!

"Feed me Seymour!"

There is a reason Seattle is not known for it's beaches.

The beach was completed with fish and chips.

Well Scott that's what you get maybe next time you won't try to look weird when I take a picture!

In Case I we haven’t spoken to you lately

Read Below:

This is Henry he is 9 months now and he is darling. He had a lazy eye, we are kinda' treating it with patching but mostly we just think it’s funny to laugh at his crazy eye.

This is Abe and he is three. He loves to play with anything that is not a toy and loves to get his brother to rough house with him. In this picture he is jumping on his new bed. That’s right, we up and moved to Seattle. Scott got a job at Amazon.com. He is loving life there.

Right now we are still living in temporary housing in Seattle but we hope to move this week and get out of the city. . .FAST. We are moving south to Puyallup WA. Allison is staying home for the moment, she might be going a little crazy but we are sure she won’t ever go back to work once Aunt Marla comes to live with us in August. Allison will need all that time for shopping and gossip. . .and caring for her children.

Brotherly love after swimming complete with crazy eye!

Livin’ it up, last week in Sea town!

This week has been lovely here in Seattle, like in the 80's. Actually a little too warm in our apartment. So we went to the SUPER MALL! While we were there Abe saw a black guy and told Scott "Hey Dad, he is Obama." Which made us feel proud because how many 3 year olds know about Obama (thank you Aunt Marla), but also we felt a little ashamed because Abe thinks there is one black guy in the world.

Henry prefers to stand now, thank you. Supported of courseWe continue to dine in the international district and love it while we live so close. The next time you see us you may notice a little more epicanthal fold from all the Asian food.

Henry had decided that he prefers to stand (supported of course). He can even get down pretty gracefully now.

Henry also makes a really great dog in a pinch.

We are having a great time going to the Zoo and Aquarium all the time. We are also looking forward to moving into our house this week. Scott says we can’t paint in the new house till I talk to someone who knows what they are talking about. Anyone out there wants to play interior decorator this week just call.
